Get ready for a Total Solar Eclipse in Sagitarrius on December 4th early in the morning. It will have already happened probably before you wake up that day. That is if you are living in the United States. It’s happening at 2:46 am EST. So for some, it’s on December 3rd. Either way, when you wake up on December 4th you’ll be in this strong eclipse energy. Are you ready?
Where will it happen? All over the planet but specifically….
The brief ‘totality’ is only visible in Antarctica. Occurring low in the sky above the floating icebergs of the Wedell Sea! It will last 1 minute 54 seconds as a total solar eclipse but its effects can last 6 months and longer.
Saggitarius is about expanding your horizons. You do this by looking at your beliefs systems, especially those that don’t serve you. Do you know what they are?
Where have you been too steeped in a certain way of thinking? Maybe it’s time to open your mind and hear another person’s point of view. Let go of any rigid thinking and create new possibilities for yourself.
In the most recent times, we have been bombarded with so many theories, “facts” and figures about what’s going on in the world. Do we really know? I think it’s more complex than we could ever imagine. We are in such big transformational times — does anyone really know what’s happening?
What is the truth? Sagittarius is about truth. And in these times with so much information and misinformation about what’s going on and everyone’s point of view, it’s really hard to decipher what the truth is. There’s lots of smoke and mirrors out there. And Neptune having been retrograde didn’t help. Thank goodness Neptune will be going direct. Neptune can be the planet of illusion and delusion. So maybe things will be exposed and greater clarity will show itself. Let’s hope so!

This eclipse energy will help you do that. And even push you to do it so. Be one step ahead and have the courage to speak your truth.
Freedom
Freedom! We are seeing our freedom being taken away from us right before our eyes. Now is a time to have the courage — again the word courage — to stand up for yourself. Maybe not going along with the rules and regulations that don’t align with your truth. Freedom isn’t handed to you. You have to claim it. Now is the time. Pay attention and don’t just go along to get along. Have the courage to stick out of the crowd… especially if you know it’s the right thing to do. And I want to encourage you to do so. Now is not a time to just give in because everyone else has.
Wisdom
Are you operating from your inner wisdom? Here is a quote from Alcoholics Anonymous
“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
What can you change? Right now we are in a time of transition but it’s not going just happen. You have to make it happen. You have to BE the change that you want to see in the world. What does that look like for you? What can you do to actively make this a better world? If you are not a politician then you probably can’t make high-level changes in public policy but you can make instant changes in how you relate. I want to encourage you to look at your relationships. How can you better them? Make them more meaningful.
Meaning
A sag quality is meaning. Does your life have meaning? Having a sense of meaning is very much a Saggitarrius quality. With all the “weird” changes that have happened in the last, almost now 2 years, it’s hard to know what the future holds. And that can easily take away our meaning.
Though it could be just the opposite. These “weird” times may have given you great meaning. And you have a sense that you were born to be here during these times. Stand up for that and shine. This eclipse energy will support you.
Overall, I think the best thing you can do is be truthful and wiser in your interactions with our closest relationships. See if you can mend any broken relationships due to differing opinions. We need to honor our freedom and give others the freedom of their own opinions as well. We need to work on honoring each other so that we can live with a deeper sense of meaning and connection.
Let this powerful eclipse time wash over you and allow your consciousness to expand. Let your mind’s horizons open to new territories. That’s what Saggitarius energy has to offer you. Take advantage of it.
